The following video shows a tornado. The tornado is a great example of velocity because one could calculate the speed using the distance and time traveled along with direction of the path that the tornado followed. Velocity always inlcudes both speed and direction therefore, knowing the velocity of a tornado is more important than just knowing the speed.
This video displays a B2 Stealth Bomber taking off as well as its flight. The B2 demonstrates acceleration throughout its flight from the moment it takes off because whenever the plane turns (changes direction) it either increases or decreases its speed to be able to change its direction. When it takes off, its speed increases so that it will be able to take off. The aircraft also shows velocity because its purpose is to get places (direction) quickly (speed). Therefore, the plane's velocity can be measured because it has both direction and speed. As the B2 takes off in the air and is in flight, the plane shows a speed that can be as fast as 628 mph, so the airplane also demonstrates speed. Aircraft mechanics and scientists that deal with aircrafts such as the B2 would need to be familiar with the plane's speed, velocity, and acceleration so that it can perform at its best as well as be the safest it can during its flight.

My video is a good example of speed, acceleration, and velocity. Velocity because the cyclist's legs are changing direction. Speed because although the wheels are moving, he isn't going anywhere, and therefore he has no speed. And, finnally, acelleration because the cyclist's cadence increases in speed. The video I watched was "Kevin does some high cadence drills on rollers" which is a video posted on Youtube.

This video shows Apollo 8 Saturn V's rocket launch. This video is an example of velocity because the rocket is going at a certain speed in a given direction which is toward the solar system. When the rocket is taking off, it is at a high velocity.

The man shows exceptional speed after him being chased and shows acceleration when he is running up a hill and encounters a bear, then causing him to turn the other way and run for his life. This is positive high acceleration because he is constantly changing his speed while increasing it as he is being chased. He also shows velocity as he is running on a rigorous trail and constantly has to change direction (velocity). So when being chased by animals it is essential to increase your speed and be able to change your velocity (acceleration) so that you increase your chances without being mauled and or killed.

In this video there is a major flsh flood on highway 395 through the high dessert in California. There is velocity shown in this video by the rain falling in the mountains and rushing down stream. Acceleration is shown by the water's rate of speed as it continues down the mountain grade through the dessert. The speed of the water increases due to the percentage of the grade of the land and also do to the saturation of the dessert. A higher number of grade equals to a higher speed of the water.

In this video, a punter kicks a football in the air. This is an example of velocity, speed, and acceleration. It is moving very fast (speed) in a certain direction (velocity). It is also moving faster due to gravity as it goes (acceleration).
This video shows speed because when the roller coaster starts off if has a little speed but as the roller coaster goes more it builds up more speed causing it to go up high and the drop down really fast. This is Torstein Horgmo a professional snowboarder. In this video he does a triple cork off of a jump in the X Games. When he is starting to slide down the jump his velocity is in a direction straight down the slope. His velocity is essential when entering into a triple cork jump. This also demonstrates velocity because when he is in the air he is doing three flips mixed with four 360's. When he is doing the trick he has to tuck his knees to create less wind resistance and increased velocity. This is a very cool way to show speed and velocity because when he is in the air and does the trick, his direction of velocity is changing in every time he spins

In this video a girl is showing her tumbling skills. Her tricks are round-offf back handspring to a full double back handspring to another full. She needed to get as much speed as she could from running into her round-off. If she didn't have enough speed then she couldn't have finished her last tricks. Her velocity is never changing because is going down the same way and never changing her direction from forward to backward. Then her acceleration helps her speed because if she went really slow then she also couldn't finish and or get as much height.

My video is about horses running. You can measure their speed. Since they are changing their direction they are also showing velocity. There is acceleration when the horses change the speed they are running, this is shown in several different parts of the video.
This video shows a girl doing a double on a volt. This shows speed because she has to run and get enough speed to go on to the volt and get high enough to spin twice and land it. This also shows acceleration because she is increasing when she runs to do a roundoff on to the volt.

The following video shows a cheetah running. A cheetah running is a great example of speed because in order to calculate speed you need to divide the distance by the time. If you wanted to see how fast a cheetah runs than you can divide the distance the cheetah ran by the time it took it to run that distance and you would get its speed. Knowing the speed of a cheetah is important because if you know how fast it is you will be able to know what animals it can outrun and hunt.
This is a scene from the movie Bourne Supremecy, during there car chase scene in Moscow. This shows an example of speed, as well as acceleration, for the car Bourne is driving, as well as the car the assassin is driving are both going really fast, until the end when they both crash :(

In this video a Mammoth Lacrosse player is taking a shot on goal. This shows speed because the ball and the player are moving across the field as the shot clock runs out. This video shows velocity when the ball is shot into the net because the direction of the ball is being changed. It also shows acceleration because the velocity decreases when he hits the boards and increases when he run to celebrate his goal.
This video shows a couple skiers skiing down a mountain while avoiding an avalanche. The skiers demonstrate velocity because as they jump off the cliff they change directions to avoid hitting the mountain and to be able to fly down safely. The speed and direction of the skier changes throughout the entire video when they jump and soar down off the mountain. One could calculate the speed of these skiers and the direction in which they are going, giving you the velocity.

This video overall is a good example of speed, velocity, and acceleration, but 1:06 is a perfect example of acceleration because as the dancer jumps his velocity changes direction and speed. From a solid position with bent legs, he straitens his legs and pushes off the ground, thus redirecting his velocity upwards and increasing his speed. This video truly represents speed and acceleration. The Peregrine Falcon can reach a speed of 150 kilometers/hour. Giving it the title of 'Worlds Fastest Animal'. It flies up a proximity one mile above ground level, tucks its wings in and flies like a shooting arrow towards the ground and as gravity help pull the falcon to the ground it can accelerate to its top speed.
This video shows speed. It is an airplane taking off. When it first takes off it is slow and then speeds up. This also demostrates velocity. Because it is going in a specific direction, so it can take off properly.

Please ignore the first and last video. Anyway this clip shows speed, velocity, and accleration. In most of the clips they are showing people either sliding down a slide or running into a pool, and that demonstrates speed because they are using their speed to run fast and then not beable to stop and fall. Also, they are using velocity because they start to run or slide a certain way, and then fall what makes them flip around. This video clip also uses acceleration because they start with potential energy and then when they start to run the speed and kinetic energy start rising, what then gets them to a faster speed untill they fall.

In this video the watermelon demonstrates velocity because it is moving at a high speed and also has a specific direction. This video also is an example of acceleration because the watermelon is flung forward, but then launches back causing a change in direction as well as a change in speed.

This a Star Wars video of compiled clips of Yoda fight scenes. It's 8 minutes long, but you don't have to watch all of it to get the general idea.
The video clip demonstrates speed. In the Motion notes, I learned that speed is caused by force. Therefore, Yoda pushing away all of the materials thrown at him with the "force" demonstrates speed because he is using the "force" to cause an object to move, which causes velocity and speed. When Yoda pushes an object away using the force, it pauses before going anyway. I found this to be an example of potential energy as well, and also kinetic. While he is pushing it away, it speeds up and crashes into something. That is velocity, acceleration, and speed.
This video on the longest Sniper shot in history represents how speed and velocity can be affected by different variables. The sniper had to readjust his measurements to reach his target based on wind speed, Earth's rotation, and trajectory. The sniper also had to aim according to the capabilities of his rifle; he has to know how fast the bullets speed is and how far it is capable of traveling.
This video of a high speed boat crash shows speed, velocity, and acceleration very clearly. Speed is demonstrated by the boats traveling over a given distance in a relatively short amount of time, and as the boats are moving in a given direction they have velocity. Unfortunately, for the racers the boats accelerate so much that the hull creates lift and an abrupt change in direction (deceleration) causing the boat to splinter and the cockpit to be launched forward effectively demolishing countless hours of work and engineering.

The video I choose showed not only speed and acceleration, but also the effects of those forces on Justin Biber action figures. The speed shown is the blades spinning, which could be measured in revolutions per minute or per second. The blade shows acceleration when it begins to go faster after the materials blending. The blades acceleration could be measured with the equation Vf-Vi/T when you plug in the initial velocity (0 revolutions per second), the final velocity (aprox 60 rps) and the amount of time it took to blend Justin Biber.
This video shows the acceleration of a sloth moving slowly across a road. Although the sloth is moving slow it is accelerating. When the man comes and pics it up the sloths acceleration increases by a lot. The video also kind of shows direction. The sloth seems very intent on going one direction; across the road. Without help from the man, it would have taken the sloth much longer to cross the road and he would probably end up going the wrong direction.

This video shows a hamster running on a hamster wheel. This video shows speed them accelaration because the hamster speeds up then slows down. Then it shows velocity because then hamster goes in a different direction.
The roller coaster shows speed because it shows the car traveling over the bars in a certain amount of time. The roller coaster also changes directions.
This is a video from the 2012 Olympic Trials showing Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps compete in the final heat of the 200IM. These 2 swimmers most definitely show speed, velocity, and acceleration. They show acceleration throughout the entire race but the first sign of it is when they accelerate off of the blocks. They dive into the water then quickly accelerate and speed up. They also demostrate velocity because both are moving in the same direction. You could calculate the speed using the distance and time traveled to get from one wall to another. From this you could calculate the exact speed they were traveling in each distance of 50meters. Also, you could also compare the results of how fast Lochte and Phelps were going, and figure out why Michael won over Ryan.
This demonstrates speed because of the distance the two cars traveled and how fats they went going down this strip of rode. Each car drove at different lengths and got to the finish line at different times which influenced a slower speed.

This video shows speed,velocity, and acceleration. In this dance the four dancers move quickly from side to side and you could find speed by finding how far they move in a certain amount of time. Also, by factoring in their direction, you could find velocity. The dancers frequently change their direction which is a change in velocity, this change is acceleration. They slow down and stop for a moment before continuing in another direction. Dancing shows all kinds of physics, especially movement.

This is a video of an underwater missile launch.
This video provides a good illustration of acceleration and velocity. The missile is first thrown into the water with relatively small initial velocity. Next, the rocket engines are presumably ignited while the missile is under water. It is necessary for the velocity of the missile to change not only in value, but also in direction. After a few seconds, the missile emerges from the water, and goes high into the air at a rather steep angle. It is clearly an accelerated motion, but the acceleration is unlikely to be constant. We can probably assume that the thrust of the engine remains approximately constant for some time. However, as the missile increases its speed, the air resistance is also increased, creating a force that slows down the motion for the missile. On the other hand, as the fuel gets used up, the mass of the missile is decreased, making it easier for the engine to increase the missile's speed.
We could still calculate the average speed of the missile from the moment it leaves the water to some later time, by dividing the distance traveled by the time.

this video is of Aaron Fotheringham landing the first double backflip in a wheelchair. while doing this Aaron definitley has to focus on his speed and acceleration because if he goes to fast or too slow he wont be able to land right. he may land to too early or end up over rotating and landing on his back. if this happens he could get seriously hurt. ( you might want to fast forward because this video shows him trying and falling multipe times ) he also has to pay attention to velocity to make sure when he is in the air that he remains straight so he can land right.

i can't get on to youtube to look at any videos because the school restricts the site and my computer was lost during the weekend so i couldn't email you about it. I found it under my bag in my closet.

This video is a ballat dancing. The dancers show acceleration, velocity, and speed. At first, when some of them start to spin, there is an ongoing steady speed but as they bring their leg inwards towards their body they accelerate. Also as one of the dancers do jumps while they are running is velocity, they are going one direction while running and jumping.

This is a video of fighter jets in action. This video shows examples of motion and energy in the beginning because as the jet is rolling down the runway, it is gaining kinetic energy. The jets accelerate in order to lift themselves of the runway and fly. They show other examples of kinetic and potential energy as they rise and dip while they are flying.
Speed is what's shown in this video and inertia. the speed is the mans fist flying and smashing the computer. But the inertia is the glass flying after the mans fist stopped after the impact. Well I hope you enjoyed the video and please leave comments.

I chose the video of "How to Touch a Wall with an Apple" because I feel as though the apple toucher had to extend his arm using movement to touch the wall.

this video shows speed, velocity, and momentum many many many many many many times. they make the ram mad enough it started to charge. this is where acceleration is showed. when it almost hits them its velocity is the greatest. when it finally reaches them it uses its momentum to inflict pain on them.
i think this video shows accelleration and veloctiy. It shows acceleration because Tory needs to have more speed to jump over the wagon and velocity beacause he is going in one direction and is not switching direction.
